If you have a home that has WAP wiring which stands for Wireless Access Point, you’re going to love these units. They work in the ceiling and disappear into the home wiring. They broadcast WiFi 2.4, 5 and 6 frequencies for your speed and reliability.
In homes equipped for ceiling access points we typically install one or two of these and one 6+ in your smart home panel. Typical professionally installed price is ~$850
The Eero 6+ Difference
Welcome to the new age of mesh WiFi. These sets of 2 or 3 or more eero 6+ radios are a game changer. Capable of 1 Gig speeds over WiFi they are price conscious and very easy on the eyes. They require power and ethernet backhaul so we’ll need to have a power outlet and an ethernet port where each unit resides within your home.
Typical install in homes is 3 radios and the quotes come in at ~$780 professionally installed within an hour.
The Eero Pro6e for power users
If you’re a gamer, work from home family with more than one user online all day and/or a WiFi aficionado, these are your game. The Pro6E includes WiFi 6E within the radio providing incredible 2.5 Gigs of wireless throughput while on the network. These radios typically get installed in a set of 3 and are slightly higher priced than the 6+.
Typical install in homes is ~$1,000 professionally installed and takes about an hour to accomplish.
